I'm Lucy, an English girl who spent her 20s living in Paris, working in high-end fashion PR, and learning firsthand how French women make style look so effortless.
That experience changed everything for me. The elegance. The restraint. The perfectly imperfect hair and I became a devoted Francophile — and, let’s be honest, I never quite got over Paris.
Aurélie launched in January 2021 as a small online clothing brand selling handpicked Parisian pieces I love. But it’s grown into something more: a curated corner of the internet for women who secretly wish they were French.

Why I Created This Brand
After returning to the UK and working in luxury travel PR, still very much rooted in France, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I wanted to bring a little Paris into everyday life. When my Travel PR business took a nose dive due to the Pandemic, I realised that it was now or never to create Aurélie.
I started Aurélie from home with just a few edits and a dream to create a brand that feels like you are getting a little slice of Paris - elegant, and understated and at an affordable price point.
Every product, post and photo reflects what I learned from French women: quality matters more than quantity. Repetition is chic. Style is a mindset.You don’t need to be French to live beautifully, but it doesn’t hurt to pretend.
