Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola at Château de Versailles

Dates: 22 September 2026 – 24 January 2027

Address: Petit Trianon, Château de Versailles, Place d'Armes, 78000 Versailles

Marking twenty years since Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette first hit cinemas, this exhibition is staged at the Petit Trianon, the very estate where much of the film was shot, and the place most intimately tied to the queen herself. On display are Milena Canonero's original Oscar-winning costumes, props, annotated scripts, storyboards and behind-the-scenes photography, plus scenes from the film screened in the actual rooms where they were filmed. It's like history and cinema colliding in one setting - it's likely to be one of the most visited exhibitions of the season.

Andy Warhol: La Ligne et l'Image at the Musée du Luxembourg

Dates: 16 September 2026 – 10 January 2027

Address: Musée du Luxembourg, 19 Rue de Vaugirard, 75006 Paris

The Warhol most people know is silkscreen, colour, repetition. This exhibition goes the other way, around 150 drawings, alongside a handful of paintings, screenprints, photographs and archival material, tracing his relationship with drawing from an early 1942 self-portrait through to the 1980s. It's set to showcase a genuinely different side of an artist most of us think we already know.
